Griffin Jax
2025 Player Outlook
Jax was phenomenal for Minnesota and fantasy managers last season, posting a 2.03 ERA, 0.87 WHIP, 10 saves, and 24 holds across 71 IP. His sweeper and changeup each posted a 45+ percent whiff rate, and his 34.4 percent strikeout rate was in the 97th percentile last season. Oh, his chase and whiff rates were also in the 99th and 98th percentile respectively. Jhoan Duran should lead the Twins in save opportunities in 2025, but Jax is going to be an excellent reliever to target in leagues that value saves and holds. If anything were to happen to Duran, and Jax is the primary ninth inning man, he's a top-10 closer, easy!
