2025 Player Outlook
Doyle's premier fantasy asset is no doubt his elite speed, as he was successful on 30-of-35 stolen base attempts last season. There is upside to dream on here given his leap forward with the bat and the fact he plays his home games in MLB's most hitter friendly stadium. He slashed his strikeout rate to a very respectable 25.4 percent last season and projects to leadoff for the Rockies.

Brenton Doyle went 2-for-4 with a run scored, RBI and a stolen base on Thursday night, helping to lead the Rockies to a 4-3 victory over the Giants.
The dynamic 26-year-old outfielder got the Rockies on the board with a game-tying RBI single off of Justin Verlander in the second inning. He then singled with one out in the eighth inning, swiped second base and scored on an RBI double by Jordan Beck. With his two-hit attack, Doyle is now slashing .253/.298/.437 with four homers, 15 RBI and three stolen bases on the season.
Brenton Doyle finished 2-for-4 with a homer as the Rockies edged the Braves 2-1 on Wednesday.
Doyle has, totally understandably, struggled offensively since coming off the Bereavement List last week, but he had a really nice game against Chris Sale and Pierce Johnson today as the Rockies won for the first time in 10 days and second time in 20 days. Doyle hit flyballs 421, 402 and 395 feet, resulting in a homer, a double and an out.
Brenton Doyle is in the lineup for Saturday’s game against the Reds.
Doyle is back patrolling center field and leading off on Saturday after missing Friday’s game for personal reasons. He shared on his personal Instagram account last weekend he and his wife are mourning the loss of their unborn baby. It’s completely understandable if he winds up requiring some additional time away from the team in the coming days to be with his wife and family.
Brenton Doyle is not in the Rockies’ starting lineup for Friday night’s battle against the Reds due to a personal matter.
Doyle missed time earlier in the week while on bereavement leave following the loss of he and his wife’s unborn baby. The Rockies will obviously continue to give him whatever time he needs to deal with personal matters while he works his way through this horrific tragedy. Mickey Moniak will handle center field in his absence on Friday.
