Jerar Encarnacion’s hand surgery was postponed until later this week due to travel issues.

Jerar Encarnacion has been diagnosed with a fractured left hand and is out indefinitely.

Giants’ manager Bob Melvin told reporters on Friday that Jerar Encarnacion will undergo precautionary X-rays after jamming his finger during Cactus League action.

Jerar Encarnacion went 1-for-4 with a strikeout on Wednesday against the Diamondbacks.
