Twins sent RHP Ryan Jensen outright to Triple-A St. Paul.
Jensen had been claimed on waivers three times since August, but he slipped through this time. Since this is his first outright assignment, he’ll remain with the Twins and report to camp as a non-roster player. The 26-year-old right-hander had a 5.32 ERA and a 78/54 K/BB ratio in 64 1/3 innings between Double- and Triple-A last year.

The 26-year-old was a first-round pick back in 2019 but has yet to pitch in the majors. He had a 5.32 ERA and a 78/54 K/BB ratio in 64 1/3 innings split between Double- and Triple-A last year. The Twins will likely give him a chance to compete for a bullpen spot on Opening Day.
