Angels signed RHP Connor Brogdon to a minor league contract and invited him to spring training.
Brogdon, 29, elected free agency after being sent outright to Triple-A by the Dodgers in the middle of November. The 29-year-old dealt with injuries in 2024, but he’s been a relatively effective hurler when healthy. He could be amember of the Angels’ bullpen to open the year, but he’ll need to earn a spot on the 40-man roster to do so.
Dodgers sent RHP Connor Brogdon outright to Triple-A Oklahoma City.
Brogdon is off the 40-man roster. The right-hander missed the overwhelming majority of 2024 with a foot injury, and he’ll need to be added back to the 40-man if he’s going to pitch for Los Angeles in 2025.
Dodgers transferred RHP Connor Brogdon to the 60-day injured list from the 15-day injured list.
Brogdon is now off the 40-man roster and it clears room for Anthony Banda. The right-hander has no timetable for a return at this point, but won’t be eligible to come off the injured list now until the middle of June.
Dodgers placed RHP Connor Brogdon on the 15-day injured list with plantar fascitiis in his right foot.
It’s not immediately clear how long the 29-year-old right-hander will be shelved for. Bobby Miller (shoulder) was also placed on the injured list on Saturday while Nick Ramirez and J.P. Feyereisen were recalled from Triple-A Oklahoma City in corresponding moves.
