2025 Player Outlook

Webb posted a groundball rate above 56% for the fourth consecutive season and his walk rate came in at a rock-solid 5.9 percent. His strikeout rate dipped below league average to 20.5 percent, which impacts his fantasy appeal. But Webb did toss 204.2 innings with a 3.47 ERA and has now made at least 32 starts in three straight seasons. He is a durable frontline starter that pitches in a very friendly home park.

Logan Webb allowed five runs with six strikeouts over five innings in a loss against the Padres on Tuesday.

Webb was a victim of some bad in this one. After two quick outs to start the game, the Padres brought three runs in to score on four hits and a walk in the first inning. Three more hits would plate two more runs in the fourth. Only two of the nine hits had an exit velocity over 88 mph, so Webb wasn’t giving up much hard contact. He’d end his day after five innings with six strikeouts. The 28-year-old right-hander will take a strong 2.83 ERA, 1.21 WHIP, and a 50/11 K/BB ratio across 41 1/3 innings into a start against the Rockies in San Francisco on Sunday.

Webb walked three, but threw 72-of-106 pitches for strikes while striking out six. It’s yet another in the month of April that the right-hander has excelled, and he’s given up no more than three runs in any of his outings in 2025. The 28-year-old will take a 1.98 ERA into his scheduled bout against the Padres on Tuesday. That outing will take place in San Diego.

Logan Webb allowed three runs on five hits in five innings in a win over the Yankees on Sunday.

Webb also walked four and struck out five on the day, so it wasn’t a pretty outing, but he got the job done. The 28-year-old allowed three runs on five hits in the first two innings of the game, but settled down after that, not allowing a single hit in the next three innings while striking out four. Webb struggled to command any pitch other than his sinker today, but he did get plenty of whiffs on the sweeper, which helped to keep him in the game. He’ll now take a 2.63 ERA into an enticing start against the Angels next week.
