Willians Astudillo has signed with the SoftBank Hawks of the Korea Baseball Organization.
La Tortuga will head to Korea for the 2023 season. The 31-year-old super-utility specialist got into 21 games last year for the Marlins, hitting .241/.255/.296 with one homer and one steal in 55 plate appearances. Astudillo rarely strikes out, has logged time at nearly every position on the diamond, and has emerged as a fan favorite the last few seasons. Simply put, we're rooting for him to make it back to the majors again.
