2025 Player Outlook
It took Meadows just 82 games last year to hit nine home runs and steal nine bases while slashing .244/.310/.433. A very, very slow start to the year led the team to send him back to the minors for nearly two months, and then after he returned from a stint on the IL, he ended the year by hitting .296 with an .840 OPS over his final 201 plate appearances! He's an intriguing power/speed option who should hit atop the Detroit lineup. Ideally, he can cut into his 25 percent strikeout rate a bit and eliminate some of the swing-and-miss in his game, but even if he only hits .240 this year, he could be a 20/20 guy, or at least a 15/20 guy. I love the upside outside of the top 225 overall.
