Grisham took Shane Baz deep for a solo home run in the second inning, his fifth home run of the season despite sporadic playing time. The 28-year-old outfielder is slashing .326/.404/.674 with the five homers and 12 RBI across 52 plate appearances.

Grisham strolled to the dish with two men on and two outs in the second inning and he served a Drew Rasmussen offering into center field that plated Paul Goldschmidt to give the Yankees an early 1-0 lead. That would be his only hit on the day and one of just five total hits by the Yankees in the ballgame. He has performed when his number has been called this season, slashing .310/.383/.619 with four homers and 11 RBI in his first 47 plate appearances.
