Arcia signed a minor league contract with the Nationals back in mid-March and got into 11 games this season for Triple-A Rochester. The 33-year-old veteran catcher hasn't appeared in the majors since the 2018 season.

The Nationals are dealing with some catching issues this spring behind starter Keibert Ruiz, so it's not a surprise to see them add some experienced depth. The 33-year-old veteran backstop hasn't appeared in the majors since the 2018 campaign. He was with the Angels back in 2021 on a minor league contract and didn't play professionally last year.

Arcia inked a minor-league deal with the Angels back in May and appeared in just 10 games at Triple-A Salt Lake prior to his release earlier this month.

Arcia hasn't appeared in the major leagues since 2018. He'll serve as organizational catching depth at Triple-A Salt Lake.
