2023 Recap: Ruiz is fast. Targeted for his stolen base potential last year, Ruiz came through by swiping 67 bags. There is no power to speak of, five home runs, and Ruiz doesn't walk while hitting .254.
2024 Outlook: There is no reason not to expect more of the same from Ruiz this year, but it's important to remember that he is a liability in the other categories. The fact that Ruiz bats in the bottom portion of the order doesn't help either.
