2024 Player Outlook
2023 Recap: Akil Baddoo burst onto the scene as he hit .259/.330/.436 with 13 home runs, 55 RBI, and 18 stolen bases in 124 games in 2021. By early May of 2022, he was in Triple-A after hitting a mere .140 in the majors. He became a more regular presence in April of 2023 again after Austin Meadows stepped away from baseball for mental health reasons. Baddoo was disappointing as he hit .218/.310/.372 as the Tigers' most regular left fielder.
2024 Outlook: The Akil Baddoo experiment is apparently over except for the occasional bench bat or pinch runner.
