Braves signed 3B Joshua Fuentes to a minor league contract.
The deal also presumably includes an invitation to spring training. Fuentes was released by the Blue Jays last May after some early-season struggles at Triple-A Buffalo. The 29-year-old infielder hasn't appeared in the majors since the 2021 season when he got into 95 contests for the Rockies. He'll likely open the 2023 campaign as emergency infield depth at Triple-A Gwinnett.

Fuentes inked a minor league contract with the Blue Jays back in late March and didn't end up making the team's season-opening roster. The 29-year-old infielder was hitting just .162/.205/.200 with one homer and one steal in 112 plate appearances over 29 games this season at Triple-A Buffalo.
