The Atlanta Journal Constitution’s Justin Toscano adds that Acuña remains without an official return timetable, but seems on scheduled to return at some point in the next month, as originally expected. It’s a significant development for fantasy managers that the superstar outfielder appears on track to make his season debut at some point in mid-May.

The Braves are hopeful that after that appointment they should have a better grasp on a timeline for when their superstar outfielder could be ready to begin a minor league rehab assignment. It still sounds like he’s at least a month away from potentially joining the Braves in the best case scenario.

Acuña Jr. will meet with those doctors in hopes of getting clearance to start a running program. The 27-year-old could then begin a rehab assignment after getting through that program, but there’s still no timetable for when the former MVP will return.
