2024 Player Outlook
2023 Recap: Even though he was eventually slowed by injury, Josh Naylor broke out in 2023 and obliterated his previous career highs, slashing .308/.354/.489 with 17 home runs, 31 doubles, 97 RBI, and a 133 OPS+. He was easily the best hitter in the Guardians' lineup last season, and arguably one the best in baseball.
2024 Outlook: Naylor's struggles against left-handed pitching continued at the start of last season as he posted a batting average below .200 against southpaws over the first two months but he finished the season with an average of .347 against left-handers from June 1st on. Josh Naylor is an underrated hitter and could be a steal in fantasy drafts especially if he continues to hit both righties and lefties.
