2025 Player Outlook
Melendez hit 17 home runs last season, but that .206 batting average, .273 OBP, and lowest walk rate of his career were eye sores. All of the hubbub heading into the year is that Melendez reworked his swing in the offseason, and there's optimism that it will yield better results at the dish. He no longer has catcher eligibility, which drains his fantasy value a bit, but outside of the top 300 players, you could do worse than 16-22 home runs, and a handful of stolen bases.
