2024 Player Outlook
2023 Recap: Another key part of the electric Braves’ offense, Albies had another solid (.280/.336/.513) slash line with 33 HR, 109 RBI, 96 R, and 13 SB season. Granted, that was a low, for a full season, in steals with a career-high in power while not sacrificing the slash line. The gains, or returns in some cases, were all done sustainably as well based on his exit velocity, launch angle, HR/FB, and hard-hit rate all around career averages while improving his barrel rate.
2024 Outlook: The Braves still have an elite lineup and Albies has secured his spot near the top of the lineup hitting between Ronald Acuna Jr. and Matt Olson which should give him plenty of pitches to hit and ability for counting stat production. While he was injured in 2022, he’s played 148 or more games in three of the last four seasons, so durability isn’t really in question either. Even with Mookie Betts adding second base eligibility this year, Albies is still a top-three second base option for fantasy.
