Diamond received one chance in the majors and is going right back to the minors after a 27.00 ERA. His lone appearance came on June 13th and he walked two, gave up three runs, and had 0 SO in just one inning of work. Diamond will continue to attempt to improve his game as he's clearly still not ready for a major role in the MLB yet.

Diamond pitched one inning during Tuesday's contest and struggled, allowing three runs on two hits while walking two. If he clears waivers he will likely return to Triple-A.
