Braves activated RHP Pierce Johnson from the 15-day injured list.
Johnson returns to bolster Atlanta’s high-leverage relief mix following a two-week absence due to right elbow inflammation. Before landing on the shelf with right elbow inflammation, he had posted a 3.00 ERA, 1.25 WHIP and a 16/5 K/BB ratio over 12 innings of work.
Atlanta placed RHP Pierce Johnson on the 15-day injured list with right elbow inflammation.
