2025 Player Outlook
Snell got off to a horrendous start with the Giants last season, posting a 9.51 ERA in his first six starts before landing on the Injured List with a groin injury. He was a different pitcher when he returned from the month-long injury absence, as he made 14 starts with a 1.23 ERA, 38 percent strikeout rate, and 10 percent walk rate to close out the season. His second-half resurgence led to him opting out of his contract to join the Dodgers on a five-year, 182-million-dollar free agent deal. If Snell can remain healthy and maintain his second-half form, he should be in line for a big season while backed by the Dodgers elite offense.
