This comes as no surprise as Callaspo was only batting .260 with no home runs and seven RBI's over 123 plate appearances with the Dodgers. With Alex Guerrero's defensive woes this could open up a spot for Dodgers phenom Corey Seager who is batting .275 with 12 home runs over 386 plate appearances at Triple-A Oklahoma City.

Both player have position flexibility and Turner will be in the starting lineup every night whether it be at third base or second base regardless due to his offensive potential.

Callaspo exacted a bit of revenge on his former team but still finds himself in a utility role as he entered the lineup with Justin Turner getting the afternoon off. For the season Callaspo is hitting .231 with 18 runs, one home run and 13 RBI.

Obviously individual motivations are hard to predict, but it seems odd Callaspo wouldn't want to move to a team in the race as opposed to staying in Atlanta. If the deal does go down, Juan Uribe is the main piece coming back to Atlanta. Uribe's fantasy value might get a slight bump with the chance of more playing time in Atlanta, but it's not a huge trade fantasy-wise.
