Mark Canha (abductor) will begin a minor league rehab assignment on Tuesday with Triple-A Omaha.

Royals placed 1B/OF Mark Canha on the 10-day injured list with a left hip strain.
Canha will wind up missing at least a couple weeks, even in a best-case scenario, after making an early exit from Tuesday’s game against the Twins with a hip ailment. It’ll be Drew Waters coming up from Triple-A Omaha to take his spot on Kansas City’s active roster.
