2025 Player Outlook
Freeman remains one of the most productive first basemen in the league despite entering his age-35 season. He still possesses elite plate skills, with a walk rate above 12 percent and a strikeout rate below 16 percent. Freeman did experience some regression in the power department last season, posting a slugging percentage below .500 for the first time in nine seasons. But his premium lineup spot in the most potent offense in baseball should afford him plenty of opportunities to both drive in and score runs.

The 35-year-old slugger opened the scoring in the contest with a run-scoring double off of Zac Gallen in the opening inning. He has been absolutely sizzling at the dish this season, slashing .376/.437/.734 with nine homers and 33 RBI. The only thing that he hasn’t done from a fantasy perspective is run, with zero stolen bases in one attempt.
Freddie Freeman went 3-for-4 with four RBI on Wednesday, propelling the Dodgers to a 10-1 blowout victory over the Marlins.
Freeman has owned the Marlins dating back to his days as Atlanta’s primary offensive catalyst and the phenomenon continued during Wednesday’s series finale when he broke a scoreless stalemate with a sixth-inning RBI single before scalding a bases-clearing, three-run triple in the seventh inning to break the contest wide open. He finished the three-game series with a whopping eight RBI and the Marlins are sure glad to see him leaving loanDepot park.

Freddie Freeman went 2-for-5 and hit his 350th career homer in the Dodgers’ 7-4 defeat of the Marlins on Monday.
The homer was a two-run shot off Sandy Alcantara in the third. Freeman is the active major league leader in hits, RBI, runs scored and doubled, but he’s a mere fourth in homers, trailing Giancarlo Stanton (429), Mike Trout (387) and Paul Goldschmidt (365).
