Pestano signed a minor league contract with the Yankees in the off-season, but failed to appear in any big leagues games. The 31-year-old will hope to latch on with another organization and make it back to the major leagues at some point in 2016.

Pestano played well in the minors last season, but struggled in his two opportunities with the Angels. He could serve as some good depth, but he appears to struggle when it comes to the show.

Pestano is a former member of the Indians and Angels and will compete for a bullpen job next spring.

Pestano just hasn't been great this season, and while he looked like one of the better young relievers a few years ago, he just isn't the same guy. Expect little fantasy value coming from him in the future.
