The 28 year old journeyman outfielder is on his fourth team in two years and does nothing more than serve as organizational depth. He's made a few big league appearances, but nothing to the point where there's any fantasy relevance. He'll be in that same spot for St. Louis this spring.

Peguero was let go by the Rangers and now the Red Sox, so obviously Peguero assumes that the problem is them and not him and that someone, no matter how many times he clears waivers, will want him for their major league roster. He'll start looking for work immediately.

Peguero struggled in Texas and then Boston gave him a chance. Well, he continued to struggle. He will go down to Triple-A to figure things out, but his fantasy relevancy for 2015 is just about done.

With the acquisition of Alejandro De Aza, the Red Sox needed to make room on both the 25-man and 40-man roster. If Peguero clears waivers, the Red Sox will stash him in Triple-A.
