Kozma appeared in three games last year with the Athletics. The 34-year-old veteran utility infielder holds a pedestrian .213/.276/.288 triple-slash line with five homers and eight steals in 825 plate appearances in the majors since 2011. He's had stints with the Cardinals, Rangers, Yankees, Tigers and Athletics over an eight-year career.

Kozma will become a free agent after clearing waivers. The veteran infielder was added to the A's roster late in the season for roster depth. He figures to get a spring training invite somewhere over the winter. 

It will be the first time in the big leagues since 2018 for Kozma. The 33-year-old will give the A's some infield depth with Vimael Machín (illness) out.

Kozma, 32, last appeared in the majors in 2018 with the Tigers. He will give the A's some utility infield depth.
