The Brewers announced Monday that Darin Ruf is dealing with a non-displaced fracture of his right knee -- in addition to the deep laceration that initially landed him on the injured list.

Hence, the move to the 60-day IL on Monday. The injury comes with a 6-to-8 week recovery timeframe, which means that Ruf won't be ready to rejoin the Brewers until sometime after the All-Star break.

Ruf sustained the injury when he crashed into the tarp while chasing down a foul ball in the third inning. It doesn't sound like anything that should require a trip to the injured list, so he should be considered day-to-day unless we hear otherwise.
