Jorge Polanco is not in the lineup for Tuesday’s game against the Yankees.
Polanco continues to sit regularly against left-handed pitchers due to an ongoing side issue that limits his ability to swing right-handed. His overall performance hasn’t been hurt at all this season as he’s batting .327/.372/.673 with 10 homers, 29 RBI and one steal through 31 games in his Seattle debut. He’ll open Tuesday’s contest on the bench with southpaw Max Fried toeing the rubber for New York. It’ll be Mitch Garver taking over at DH to open Tuesday’s contest at T-Mobile Park.
Jorge Polanco is at second base for Tuesday’s game against the Athletics.
Polanco returns to the field on Tuesday evening for the first time since April 4. The 31-year-old has been limited to DH duty over the last month due to an ongoing side issue, which has limited his ability to swing the bat right-handed. He’s been a revelation this season for the Mariners, batting .360/.407/.750 with nine homers, 27 RBI and one steal through 26 games.
Jorge Polanco is not in the lineup for Saturday’s game against the Rangers.
Polanco takes a seat with lefty Patrick Corbin toeing the rubber on Saturday night. The switch-hitting 31-year-old is still limited in his ability to swing the bat right-handed due to an ongoing side issue so he’ll open this one on the bench with Mitch Garver occupying the DH spot. Fantasy managers should anticipate Polanco continuing to sit against left-handed starters until further notice.
Jorge Polanco is not in the lineup for Wednesday’s game against the Angels.
Polanco still can’t swing the bat from the right side because of his side injury, so he’ll get a break after his two-homer contest Tuesday. The 31-year-old will sit with Mitch Garver behind the plate and Cal Raleigh as the designated hitter.
