Hess, a seventh-round pick from 2019, posted a 3.42 ERA and 69/32 K/BB ratio over 52 2/3 relief innings High-A and Double-A last year before having a stint in the Arizona Fall League. He's set to turn 25 later this week and will hope to come back strong for the 2023 campaign.
