Astros released LHP Zac Rosscup.
Rosscup has made 120 relief appearances in the majors since 2013 and inked a minor league contract with the Astros back in mid-March. The 34-year-old veteran lefty has been jettisoned after compiling a 3.10 ERA, 1.38 WHIP and 35/17 K/BB ratio across 29 innings (26 appearances) this season for Triple-A Sugar Land.

The 33-year-old tossed just three innings at the major league level last year, allowing one earned run. Rosscup carries a career 5.09 ERA and 1.64 WHIP over seven seasons.
