Yuli Gurriel is at first base and batting fifth on Saturday against the White Sox.
Gurriel has ostensibly overtaken Garrett Cooper as Miami's primary first baseman over the last few weeks, slashing .290/.367/.420 with two stolen bases across 19 games over the last month.
Yuli Gurriel went 4-for-4 with a triple, two runs scored, and an RBI to lead the Marlins to a 10-2 victory over the Rockies on Wednesday.
Gurriel continued to take advantage of Coors Field after collecting three hits on Tuesday. He added four more on Wednesday, including a triple to lead off the sixth inning. The 38-year-old first baseman raised his season slash line to .291/.330/.427 with three homers across 112 plate appearances.
Yuli Gurriel went 2-for-4 and crushed his first home run as a member of the Marlins in Monday night's lopsided loss to the Phillies.
Gurriel finally got the Marlins on the board with a 366-foot (95.6 mph EV) solo shot off of McKinley Moore in the seventh inning, making it a 13-1 ballgame. The 38-year-old has done a nice job so far in his limited action with the Marlins, slashing .375/.412/.563 with a homer and one RBI in his first 17 plate appearances.

Gurriel has been on the bench for the last five games but will see some game action Sunday against the Mets. He will play first base as Garrett Cooper shifts to designated hitter in the series finale against the Mets.
