Webb spent last season with the Long Island Ducks of the independent Atlantic League. The 32-year-old southpaw made 22 disastrous relief appearances for the Cardinals during the 2021 campaign, but was an effective middle reliever for several years prior. He holds a serviceable 4.97 ERA, 1.37 WHIP and 104/63 K/BB ratio across 121 1/3 innings (139 appearances) since 2017. He gives the Twins some extra organizational relief depth.
