Estrada is coming off a brutal season that ended with him being non-tendered by the Giants. The Rockies scooped him up after non-tendering their own incumbent second baseman Brendan Rodgers. Estrada is just a year removed from being a useful source of batting average (.271) and stolen bases (23) at a weak position, and he will now play his home games in Coors field.
