Teoscar Hernández clobbered his 200th career homer Sunday against the Pirates.
Hernández was removed for a pinch-hitter afterwards, but that was probably due to the 9-2 score. The homer was his third in four games and eighth of 2025. Next up for him is his 200th career double; he entered the day with 199 of those, too.
Teoscar Hernández hit a solo homer and scored twice in a win over the Pirates on Saturday.
Teoscar Hernández (illness) is back in the lineup for Wednesday’s game against the Rockies.
Hernández is back in right field and batting cleanup in Wednesday’s series finale at Dodger Stadium following a brief two-game absence due to a stomach bug. The 32-year-old slugger is off to a strong start this season, batting .281/.309/.563 with five homers, 16 RBI and two steals through 17 games.
Teoscar Hernández (illness) remains out of the lineup for Tuesday’s contest against the Rockies.
The Athletic’s Fabian Ardaya reports Hernández was feeling well enough to be at the ballpark on Tuesday, but he’s going to get an additional day off to rest and recover. It’ll be Andy Pages in right field for the second straight night. There’s a chance he’s ready to return for Wednesday night’s series finale.
