Mariners re-signed RHP Taylor Williams to a minor league contract.
The 31-year-old hurler spent the entire 2022 campaign at the Triple-A level, registering a 4.69 ERA, 1.48 WHIP and a 68/24 K/BB ratio between the Giants and the Mariners. He'll continue to function as extra bullpen depth for the Mariners.

The 31-year-old hurler was cut loose by the Giants over the All-Star break. He returns to the place of his most big league success, as Williams picked up six saves with the Mariners during the first half of the 2020 campaign. He'll add minor league bullpen depth for the M's.

Williams signed a minor league contract with the Giants back in March and has been cut loose after compiling a disastrous 6.81 ERA, 1.69 WHIP and 45/17 K/BB ratio across 39 2/3 innings (27 appearances, three starts) this season for Triple-A Sacramento. The 30-year-old righty has made 97 relief appearances, including 11 last year between the Padres and Marlins, at the big-league level since 2017.
