Shea Langeliers drove in a run while going 4-for-4 in a win over the Rangers on Wednesday.
Langeliers was just 2-for-20 in his last five games before Wednesday’s game, so he was due for some positive results. Four hits definitely counts. The 27-year-old is unlikely to be much of a helper in the average category, but the power makes him an underrated fantasy option for 2025 and the future.
Shea Langeliers struck out all three times and committed two throwing errors on an eight-steal day for the Brewers on Sunday.
About as bad of a day as a player can have. The Brewers were 8-for-9 stealing bases and scored 14 runs while Langeliers was in the game. Sadly enough, that improved Langerliers’ season caught stealing percentage from six percent (1-for-17) to nine percent. There’s plenty to like about Langeliers’ bat, but the defense is going to be an issue if the A’s want to contend at some point.
Shea Langeliers hit a solo homer to help the A’s to a win over the Brewers on Saturday.
Langeliers gave the A’s some cushion with a solo homer in the ninth to extend the lead to 3-1. They didn’t need another run with Mason Miller taking the hill, but a nice thought, anyway. Langeliers has five homers, 11 RBI and a .797 OPS over 21 games.
Shea Langeliers went 3-for-5 with a homer and two RBI on Tuesday night as the Athletics walloped the White Sox.
The hard-hitting 27-year-old backstop victimized Sean Burke for a 409-foot (107.9 mph EV) solo shot in the fourth inning that extended the A’s lead to 5-3. He then tacked on a run-scoring double in the ninth that made it a 10-3 ballgame before coming around to score on a sacrifice fly. He’s off to a nice start in the middle of the A’s lineup, slashing .250/.344/.518 with four homers and 10 RBI.
