Carle signed a minor league deal with Seattle just a few weeks ago and had made two scoreless relief appearances with the club's Triple-A affiliate in Tacoma, but he is now back on the open market. The 29-year-old right-hander has not pitched in a game at the major legue level since he yielded 10 earned runs over 9 1/3 innings of relief with the Braves in 2019.
