Sam Dyson has been suspended for the 2021 season for violating Major League Baseball's Joint Domestic Violence, Sexual Assault and Child Abuse Policy.

Dyson (shoulder) is being investigated by MLB for an alleged domestic violence incident, Ken Rosenthal of The Athletic reports.

Dyson (shoulder) was outrighted to Triple-A Rochester and elected free agency Saturday, La Velle Neal of the Star Tribune reports.

Dyson underwent capsule repair surgery in his right shoulder Tuesday and could be out up to 12 months, Do-Hyoung Park of MLB.com reports.
