Rockies selected the contract of LHP Ryan Rolison from Triple-A Albuquerque.
Rolison was a first-round pick in the 2018 MLB Draft and has yet to appear in the big leagues. The 27-year-old lefty earns his first big-league promotion after posting a solid 3.72 ERA across 19 1/3 innings (12 appearances) this season at the Triple-A level.
Rockies sent LHP Ryan Rolison outright to Triple-A Albuquerque.
The move clears him from the Rockies’ 40-man roster. Rolison, 26, made just four appearances in the minors this season after rehabbing from shoulder surgery. He was a first-round pick for the Rockies (18th overall) in 2018.
Rockies placed LHP Ryan Rolison on the 60-day injured list.
The left-hander is still working his way back from shoulder surgery. Nothing has changed in his prognosis, this move was made as a procedural effort to free up a spot on the club’s 40-man roster.
Rockies optioned LHP Ryan Rolison to Triple-A Albuquerque.
Rolison was activated from the Rockies' 60-day injured list on Monday and then optioned to Triple-A Albuquerque. The 25-year-old southpaw missed the entire 2022 season while recovering from shoulder surgery and will continue to work his way back into shape at the Triple-A level for the time being.
