The 33-year-old journeyman outfielder holds a pedestrian .232/.286/.350 triple-slash line with six homers and four steals in 270 plate appearances in the big leagues since 2015. He'll provide the Yankees with some additional position player depth at Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre this season.

LaMarre has refused an outright minor-league assignment and will search for a new opportunity this offseason. The 32-year-old veteran outfielder wound up appearing in nine games for the injury-ravaged Yankees, hitting .190/.292/.476 with two homers and one stolen base across 24 plate appearances this season.
