Ruiz split time between the Rockies and Orioles during the 2021 campaign, slashing .168/.243/.273 with three homers and two steals across 141 plate appearances. The 27-year-old infielder has struggled defensively, but possesses enough over-the-fence pop to make some noise in Korea next season.

Ruiz was claimed off waivers from the Orioles over the summer, and he hit just .168 with the Rockies and Baltimore in 2021. He'll likely be non-tendered and seek a new opportunity in 2022.
