The 29-year-old southpaw has struggled in his time with the Athletics this season, registering an underwhelming 6.28 ERA, 1.67 WHIP and 5/5 K/BB ratio across 14 1/3 innings. Jordan Weems was recalled from Triple-A Las Vegas in a corresponding move.
