Randy Arozarena (hamstring) is back in the lineup for Tuesday’s showdown against the Athletics.
Arozarena is back at DH and batting cleanup on Tuesday night at Sutter Health Park in Sacramento following a one-game absence due to a minor right hamstring issue. Fantasy managers should keep a close eye on his status in the coming days, but it’s undoubtedly a positive that he’s back in Seattle’s lineup without requiring an extended break.
Randy Arozarena (hamstring) is absent from the lineup for Monday’s series opener against the Athletics.
Arozarena told reporters he expects to return to Tuesday’s lineup after leaving Sunday’s series finale against the Rangers with a minor right hamstring issue. It doesn’t sound like a serious concern moving forward, but hamstring’s can be tricky matters. It’s a situation fantasy managers should continue to monitor closely. It’ll be Miles Mastrobuoni taking over in left field with rookie Rhylan Thomas getting into the lineup in the opposite corner.
Randy Arozarena was pulled from Sunday’s game against the Rangers with a hamstring issue.
Mariners’ manager Dan Wilson told reporters after the game that Arozarena had “a little bit of a hamstring thing... but nothing serious”. It doesn’t sound like it’s anything that should require an extended absence, but be sure to monitor his status on Monday just to be on the safe side.
Randy Arozarena went 2-for-4 and hit his fifth homer Wednesday in the Mariners’ 9-3 drubbing of the Angels.
Arozarena had gone six straight games without an RBI before driving in himself in the second inning today. He’s hitting .208/.359/.406 with eight steals in eight attempts. Batting average figures to remain an issue while he continues to play half of his games in Seattle, but everything else is good.
