Margevicius was released last month by the Mariners and has found a new opportunity with the Braves. Margevicius was designated for assignment last week but has cleared waivers and will remain in the organization as depth.

This move opens a 40-man roster spot for Danny Young, who is joining the Mariners on Thursday. Margevicius had surrendered 18 runs -- 17 earned -- through just 12 innings (four starts) this season with Triple-A Tacoma.
