Nathaniel Lowe went 1-for-5 with a run scored and an RBI as the Nationals bested the Phillies on Thursday evening in Philadelphia.
Lowe got the scoring started for the Nationals in the sixth inning with a game-tying RBI single off of Taijuan Walker. He came around to score later in the inning on an error by Bryce Harper. Lowe has been a force in the middle of the Nationals’ lineup this season, slashing .246/.321/.449 with six homers, 25 RBI and one stolen base.
Nathaniel Lowe went 3-for-4 and drove in the Nationals’ lone run in Sunday night’s loss to the Rockies.
Lowe got the Nationals on the board first in this one with a run-scoring single off of Antonio Senzatela in the first inning that plated James Wood. That would wind up being the extent of their offense in the ballgame though. As a team, the Nationals had eight hits in the contest, with Lowe the only player to tally more than one. He has been outstanding so far with his new ballclub, slashing a robust .295/.375/.474 with three homers, 17 RBI and one stolen base through his first 22 games.

Lowe missed Friday’s game because of an illness and DH’d over the weekend in order to give him more time off his feet. He and Josh Bell have returned to their usual spots today.
