Feliz will head overseas just a few months after signing a minor league contract with the Yankees back in mid-May. The 30-year-old righty hasn’t pitched in the majors since making one relief appearance last year for the Red Sox.

The 29-year-old hurler had been pitching in the Mexican League where he registered a 1.08 ERA, 0.96 WHIP and a 13/2 K/BB ratio across 8 1/3 innings -- which appears to have gotten the attention of the Yankees. He'll add bullpen depth at the Triple-A level to start.

The 29-year-old hurler elected free agency just before the All-Star break after being designated for assignment by the Red Sox. Feliz posted a 2.70 ERA, 0.90 WHIP and 4/2 K/BB ratio over 3 1/3 innings in his lone appearance with the Red Sox.

Feliz was designated for assignment by the Red Sox last week and has chosen to head to the open market after passing through waivers unclaimed. The 29-year-old has a career 5.29 ERA at the big league level.
