2025 Player Outlook
Conforto should be the strong side of a LF platoon that deploys someone like Andy Pages against lefties. It is conceivable that Conforto plays himself into a full-time role, as he actually performed better against lefties (145 wRC+) than righties (104 wRC+) last season. It is also possible Pages, James Outman, or someone else takes a step forward and Conforto has trouble staying on the field.
Player News
Michael Conforto went 2-for-4 and scored a pair of runs as the Dodgers fell to the Cubs on Sunday evening in Los Angeles.
Conforto reached on a one-out single off of Colin Rea in the second inning and came around to score the game’s first run on a two-out RBI single off the bat of Enrique Hernández. He then punched a single into center to lead off the sixth inning and scored the game-tying run on a sacrifice fly by Max Muncy. The 32-year-old outfielder is off to a slow start in his first season with the Dodgers, slashing just .224/.345/.429 with two long balls and five RBI.
Michael Conforto went 1-for-4 with a solo homer on Saturday against the Phillies.
Conforto left the yard in the sixth inning with a solo blast off Aaron Nola. It was the second home run of the season for the 32-year-old outfielder and he’s hit safely now in seven of his eight starts while six of his eight hits have gone for extra bases.
Michael Conforto belted his first home run as a member of the Dodgers and drove in three runs on Friday in a 6-4 victory over the Mariners in Cactus League action.
Conforto opened the scoring in the ballgame with a two-run double off of Emerson Hancock in the third inning. He then came around to score on a run-scoring single by Enrique Hernandez. The 32-year-old outfielder then crushed a solo shot off of Logan Evans in the fifth inning that made it a 4-0 ballgame. He’s off to a strong start in his first spring with the Dodgers, hitting .304 (7-for-23) with a homer and three RBI. He looks like a particularly interesting late-round outfield option that can be had after pick 250 in mixed league drafts.
Michael Conforto went 3-for-3 with a double and scored twice in the Dodgers’ 8-4 defeat of a Rangers split-squad on Thursday.
Conforto was 2-for-17 this spring before the nice game today. We expect him to post considerably better numbers in Los Angeles than he did in San Francisco, though his status as a platoon player hitting in the bottom third of the lineup means his fantasy ceiling isn’t particularly high.
