Dodgers signed INF Michael Chavis to a minor league contract with an invitation to spring training.
The 29-year-old split his 2024 season between the Mariners’ and White Sox’ organizations where he slashed a combined .257/.333/.444 with 16 homers, 56 RBI and a 99/36 K/BB ratio over 408 plate appearances at the Triple-A level. He’ll add more quality depth to an organization that is brimming with it.

He has played first base, second base, third base and left field in the last two years, so he could provide defensive versatility as organizational depth for Seattle.
