Peacock went unclaimed on waivers after being designated for assignment last week and will remain with the Blue Jays as organizational relief depth. The 28-year-old righty has made nine relief appearances this season in the majors between the Diamondbacks and Royals.

Peacock has been removed from the Blue Jays' 40-man roster to open up a spot for newly-signed veteran outfielder Jackie Bradley Jr.

Peacock has given up four runs over 7 1/3 innings in his limited time with the Blue Jays. He will be an up-and-down arm for Toronto all year. 

Peacock was claimed off waivers from the Royals last month and will officially join the Jays' major league roster on Wednesday, presumably in a long relief role. He owns a career 4.95 ERA at the MLB level.
