Giants released LHP Matt Hall.
Hall inked a minor league contract with the Giants last month and has been released after just two appearances (one start) for Triple-A Sacramento. The 28-year-old left-hander has made 21 relief appearances in the majors since 2018.

Hall recorded an inflated 7.36 ERA, 2.07 WHIP and 37/26 K/BB ratio across 36 2/3 innings (28 appearances) last year at Triple-A Worcester before being released in mid-August. The 28-year-old left-hander has made 25 relief appearances at the big-league level since 2018 and will augment the Giants' organizational relief depth.
Brewers sent OF Corey Ray outright to Triple-A Nashville.
Ray, the Brewers' first-round selection back in 2016, has been removed from Milwaukee's 40-man roster. The 27-year-old outfielder appeared in one game last year and has spent the entire 2022 campaign at Triple-A Nashville.
Red Sox released LHP Matt Hall.
Hall, 28, had been at Triple-A Worcester, where he posted a 7.36 ERA over 28 appearances. He has an ugly 11.48 ERA in 25 appearances at the major league level.
